The Scandinavian country of Norway has managed to preserve much of its natural resources and culture.

From Oslo’s streets lined with top-notch art galleries and incredible museums to the splendid northern lights, Norway is sure to amaze its visitors.

Norway offers a variety of great tours for everyone. If you are a lover of art and history, you can walk the streets of Oslo and visit its art galleries and museums. Norwegian attractions such as the Norwegian Maritime Museum and Viking Ship Museum will give you a glimpse of Norway’s rich culture and history.

You can also marvel at the Hanseatic historic buildings in Bryggen. Since 1979, they have been included in the UNESCO’s list of World Cultural Heritage sites. You can also visit the oldest and tallest building in the area, St. Mary’s Church. Another Norwegian attraction that has been included in UNESCO’s World Heritage List is the Geirangerfjord. Surrounded by wild waterfalls, majestic mountains ranging from 1600 to 1700 metres high, and luscious green vegetation, a relaxing cruise along this fjord will definitely leave you in awe.

If you are an adventure seeker, you can try Norway’s more daring activities. You can hike your way up to the Troll’s Tongue in Odda, otherwise known as Trolltunga. This fjord landscape is considered one of the most spectacular in Norway. The hike will usually take 10 to 12 hours, travelling 27.5 kilometres in total. While the hike can be a tiring one, the view from the top will make you think all of it was worth it.

And of course, don’t forget about the splendid Northern Lights, also known as Aurora. This mysterious dancing of colours in the sky has had many people dreaming about it. If you are one of the many people wishing to witness this splendid attraction, it is best to pay northern Norway a visit between October and March.
